Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. We do not retain a separate server copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that may contain an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps us maintain the service and see which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How Information Is Used
The limited data above supports site operation, error diagnosis, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government portals, Los Angeles County and California records offices, library collections, and outside search tools. Information sent to any linked service is controlled by that service's privacy policy. Sponsored results are also supplied by an independent company with its own data practices.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatically collected data already described. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not share visitor data.
Our Security Practices
An encrypted connection serves the site, and server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated uses. Because there are no visitor accounts, we hold no site password or member profile for you.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your California Privacy Rights
California Civil Code section 1798.100 and the California Consumer Privacy Act may provide rights concerning access, correction, deletion, and notice about personal information, subject to applicable definitions and exceptions. Since we keep little visitor data, a request generally involves checking contact messages and available server logs. Submit one through the Contact page. Government records held by Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, or California agencies remain outside our control, so questions about those records must go to the custodian.
Changes to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. Your continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
